Do you have experience as a Software Tester and do you want to use your knowledge in a role where testing and functional support reinforce each other? Would you enjoy not only testing software but also being an important link between our customers and the development teams?
And do you also want to play a coordinating role in rolling out automated testing with Cypress within a growing organization? Then this vacancy might be exactly what you are looking for.
What exactly will you do?
You combine two worlds: you ensure our software does what it's supposed to do AND you support our customers with functional questions. You will work for leading clients such as Solucious, de Bijenkorf, and Wehkamp.
Among other things, you will test the software manually. Additionally, we are taking great steps in automated testing: we are implementing Cypress for our newest customers, and we want to roll this out across all our existing customers as soon as possible. You can truly take the lead in this.
- Creating and executing test plans and test scenarios (manual and automated)
- Further developing and rolling out automated testing with Cypress, together with the development teams
- Identifying, analyzing, and reproducing issues from support requests
- Providing functional support to customers and colleagues
- Recording findings in JIRA and maintaining documentation in Confluence
- Drafting customer-oriented documentation based on test plans and findings

Who are you and what do you bring?
You have extensive experience in setting up automated test environments. For many developers, this is a new way of working; bringing people along and positively motivating them are qualities that will help you here. You don't easily get discouraged by setbacks, enjoy customer contact, and are naturally accurate, proactive, and think along with the business.
- Several years of experience as a Software Tester
- Experience with or interest in functional support
- A relevant IT education
- Affinity with automated testing and setting up test environments
- Experience with Cypress or similar testing tools is a plus
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus
- Knowledge of or affinity with PHP (unit testing) is a plus
- Proactive, strong communication skills, and solution-oriented mindset
